The Macalder Dispensary Renovation Project revitalised the ageing Macalder Health Centre, expanding its capacity to serve the local mining community. Works included roofing, electrical rewiring, painting, construction of a maternity wing, and equipping the laboratory.

The dispensary now offers 24-hour maternity services and serves as a referral centre for surrounding clinics. The emergency trauma bay is specifically equipped for injuries common in informal gold mining.
