The Ochillo Education Fund is the flagship scholarship programme supporting bright but needy students across Migori County. Building on the success of the Rongo Education Trust (which supported 1,200 students annually 2017–2022), the fund has now been scaled to all 8 constituencies of Migori.
The fund focuses on orphans, students from single-parent households, children of artisanal miners and cane farmers, and those from the most marginalised wards of Kuria West, Kuria East, and Nyatike.
